Ollie “Earlene” Hartman went to be with her mother, father, and her beloved dog, “Rainey” on October 22, 2018, at the age of 82. She was born July 14, 1936 in Koshkonong, Missouri to Harvey and Rena Tyree. She and her parents lived in Fruitland, Idaho, where she graduated in 1954 from Fruitland High School. During her high school years she met Horace “Sonny” Elsworth Wood. They were married in 1955, and then again in 1960. Sonny was in the Air Force, so they traveled a lot and lived on different bases. Buckley Air Force in Colorado, is where they reunited. She had two children Jody Siobhan and Robert Lee “RL” Wood. They divorced in 1974. She married Bill Hartman in 1976. They resided in Caldwell with RL and his two girls from a previous marriage, Shelli and Sherri. They were later divorced. Earlene moved to Boise. She worked for Ada County Highway, IBM, Idaho First Bank, Bake Young Realty, and was later an in-home caregiver until the age of 79. Her vivacious personality brought in strangers, soon to be friends. She loved nature, and found beauty everywhere. Earlene had the eye of an artist, and the ability to express it with jewelry, painting & many other crafts. Her favorite saying was “Everything’s Perfect.” She has distant relatives living in Missouri, California, and Arkansas. She was proceeded in death by an older infant sister, her mother, and father. She is survived by her daughter Jody (Norman); son R.L. (April); two grandchildren (Kelli & Jeff); four great grandchildren; two step-daughters (Shelli & Sherri), and their families. Celebration of life will held on Sunday, October 28, from 1 pm to 3 pm at Cloverdale Funeral Home (Garden Room), Boise, Idaho.
