Paul James Martin

Paul Martin passed away in Boise, Idaho December 31, 2018 at the age of 74. He was born in California and lived with his family there through high school. Paul moved to Boise in 1963 where he was stationed at Mountain Home AFB. After leaving the military in 1967, he attended and graduated from Boise State University earning a degree in Business Administration. Paul was employed by the State of Idaho from 1971 through 2000 holding various positions in Human Resource Management.
   He enjoyed fishing, hiking, exploring, traveling, skiing, hunting, camping, rescuing wild animals, classic cars, street rods, bike rides, walks along the Boise River, and good rock-n-roll music. He loved the out of doors and considered nature to be his form of religion.
   Paul is survived by his children and grandchildren who love him very much and will miss him each and every day. At his request, there will not be a funeral. However, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. If you are interested in attending, please email rsvp4paul@gmail.com with your contact information. If you would like to honor his memory, the family asks that donations be made to Animals In Distress Association, a local non-profit organization he was passionate about and for which he volunteered.
