“Be brave – Stay strong – Do the right”
~ RayRay Brown
Rachel Elizabeth Fowler “RayRay Brown”, 35, of Boise, died at home of natural causes on February 12, 2021. She was born in Boise on May 29, 1985, to Kevin Fowler and Shelley Thompson Fowler.
Rachel grew up in Boise, lived briefly in Nampa, and graduated from Mountain Cove High School in Boise in 2003. She also attended the College of Western Idaho. She was employed as a housekeeping supervisor at the Grove Hotel. She belonged to Purse with a Purpose, a charitable organization started by her mother-in-law, Launee Wolverton, to provide purses filled with items for women served by charitable organizations and women inmates re-entering society.
In 2006 Rachel married Tyler Freeland. They had three children and later divorced.
In RayRay’s own words from Facebook:
“I am the proud mother of 3 amazing children – Ava, Alizeh, and Alliya. Without them I’d be lost. I have been at my worst, since then life has only gotten better by the minute. I am proud to be who I am. And where I came from. I’m a mother first. A daughter. A sister. A granddaughter. A niece. I do me. I have a backbone. I’m independent. I’m selfless. I’m girly. I’m a thinker. I’m sassy. I’m real. I love polka dots and purple candy phones. I am simple and like simple things. I am stubborn and sometimes cry. I love pool parties with my kids and the sound of their laughs. I love my life and everything and everyone in it. I love cuddling on the couch with a good movie. I’m honest and a good listener. I hate fake people. Cheaters. Liars. And men who don’t take care of their kids. I put my heart into everything. I believe in happily ever after. I love sunsets. I like seeing the good in people before judging too quickly. I love tattoos and piercings. I love Saturday morning cartoon dates with my kids.”
