Rebecca Louise Fredericks

Born Rebecca Louise Wilcox July 13, 1941 in Independence, MO to Les and Florence (Holladay) Wilcox. She passed on July 14,  2022 in her home in Boise, ID.  Rebecca requested there be no public service and that she be cremated.   

She attended school in Missouri and Oregon before graduating from Middleton (ID) High.  Rebecca obtained a BS degree from Boise State University; worked 7 years for Crawford and Company Insurance Adjusters and 28 years for Boise Cascade Risk Management.  In retirement Rebecca worked for ID Elks Rehab Hospital for 7 years and volunteered at the VA for 2 years and in the Boise Rose Garden for years as well.

Rebecca married Floyd Fredericks, the love of her life, October 1960.  The had a daughter, Kym Janine, born in Buffalo, NY.  Her relationship with the Lord (she called Him her roommate), home, family, friends, her jobs, gardening, learning and travel brought joy throughout her life. She was truly blessed.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her dad, mother, Floyd, and brothers Mickey, Regan and Daniel.  She is survived by daughter Kym Clayton (Byron), Granddaughter Skylar Clayton, great grandson Ayden Ezekiel, 8 siblings: Joel Wilcox (Pat), Gerald Wilcox, Buntley Wilcox (Vikki), Claudette Hill, Arta Karathanasis (Vasili), Oma Escolar, Philip Wilcox (Tammy), and Adora Strong.  She was also blessed and survived by many beautiful nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and cousins.  She felt family rich and will be missed by them all!
