Richard Delbert Clark was born May 6, 1934, to Ester Vivian Cox and Reginald George Clark in Boise, Idaho. He attended Lowell Elementary, South Junior High, and Boise High School. Richard joined the Navy in 1953. While a Seaman Recruit, he received an Honorable Discharge because of an injury he received as a child.
Richard was always a hard-working man who took pride in providing for his family. He worked in the roofing industry for 15 years at ORR Roofing and Rutledge Roofing. After two years of training at BSU-VoTech, he became Service Supervisor for Fischer’s Office Equipment. Later in life, he was a custodian at Boise High School and Head Custodian at Adams and Madison Elementary Schools.
Richard enjoyed square and round dancing and socializing at the Boise Square Dance Center. He enjoyed dancing with all the area clubs and attended two National Square Dance Conventions. He also became quite a rockhound and belonged to the Idaho Gem Club for 25 years.
Richard is survived by his wife, Sue Ellen Clark, his four children, Steve (Cynthia) Clark of Tacoma, Washington, Sharon Austin-Clark of Nampa Idaho, Scott (Carol) Clark of Star, Idaho, and Ken (Pam) Clark of Des Moines, Washington. He also has two step-children, Jennifer (Christa) Boudreaux of Roseville, California and Daniel (Beth) Foote of Meridian, Idaho.
Richard also leaves his sister, Bernadine Bowen of Sebastian, Florida, and a brother, Duane Clark of Wasilla, Alaska. Richard has 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Phyllis Montgomery and Dorothy Gilbert.

Arrangements are made with Cloverdale Funeral Home. A VA service will be Friday, April 13th at 11:00 a.m. at Idaho Veteran’s Cemetery.
Following the service there will be a lunch held at Idaho Pizza, 78 E. Eagle River Street, Eagle, Idaho.
