Mrs. Brilz was my surrogate mother during my high school years, and was always happy to have me spend the night when Steve and I were out late and I didn’t want to make the long drive back to Nampa. She was such a loving wife and mother, and I am so appreciative that she and Mr. Brilz welcomed me into their home. She will be deeply missed.

I have very fond memories of Rita coming into the Collister Library where I work. Over the years, while I helped her find mystery books, I came to admire Rita's spunky sense of humor and honest outlook on life. Rita had a energetic cheerfulness that would brighten my day.
