Robert James Caple

Little Bobby Caple came bouncing into Boise on Sept. 1, 1953 and sailed out of our world on June 1, 2019. He was the first child of Bob & Joye Caple. He was joined in later years by a sister, Sandy, and a brother, David. He attended Capital High School. Bob married Sandra Steppe in 1971. From that marriage came 2 children, Donnie and Tonya. In 1977 he married Terrie Tinsley-Anderson.
In 1971 he joined the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union No 296, in Boise and began his lifelong career. He worked for many companies in Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Nevada. He retired in 2009 after working for RM Mechanical for many years. Bob loved hunting, fishing, gardening his dogs and his family (not necessarily in that order). He especially enjoyed archery hunting.
Bob was proceeded in death by his father, brother, both sets of grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousin.
He is survived by his wife, Terrie, his mother, Joye , son Donnie (Tana) Caple, daughter Tonya (Clane) Watson, sister Sandy Caple and her wife Michele Depasse", granddaughter Lindy Caple and her partner Travis Glasgow, grandson Jacob Caple and his 2 great grandchildren, Luna Glasgow (LunaTunes to grandpa) and Braxton Caple, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He will be always loved and greatly missed.
There will be a very informal (so put on your shorts n tank top or t-shirt and jeans) celebration of life at his home 12528 W Castlewood Dr Boise on Saturday, June 8 at 2:00.
