Ruby Belle Reutzel was born January 5th in Parma, Idaho to Fern Opal Chase & Winefred George Chase, one of 7 children, Lorraine, Rude, Barbara, Woody, Gordy, and John.

She was married to Marvin Reutzel in June of 1947 and had one son Randall Lee Reutzel. Ruby was divorced in 1979 and shares with Marvin one grandchild, Clayton born in 1983 and has multiple nieces and nephews.
