We had the pleasure of meeting Ruthie through her daughter Mary who has been our neighbor and friend for the past 3 yrs. Even though we didn't know Ruthie very well, it was always a delight to see her. You could tell that she had lived a wonderful and full life.

Ruth was a dear friend, delightful companion, and formidable bridge player - both as a partner and opponent. There wasn't a corner of Boise she did not know, and she knew every short cut to them. Her home was always open to friends and family. Her courage, determination, and fortitude in the face of declining health were reflections of the remarkable woman she was. She probably has already found a bridge game or two in heaven. I miss her humor and the light she brought to my life. Peace be with you, Ruth.
