Sandra Kay Elliott

Sandra Kay Elliott, 65, passed away November 4th, 2019 with her husband, son and daughter at her side. Sandi battled pancreatic cancer for 2 years. She was born May 3rd, 1954 in Santa Monica, California to Merle and Rosana Johnson. She married her loving husband Gary Elliott, in April of 1984. 

Sandi worked at Borah High School for 25+ years as a Special Needs assistant teacher. She absolutely loved her job and it brought her joy to be involved in the lives of those individuals. Even after being diagnosed with cancer she still continued to power through to get up and go to work and touch the lives of others.

Sandi always went out of her way to make sure that the people surrounding her were happy. Even while battling this horrible disease she had always put family and friends before herself. Throughout the last 2 years she rarely, if ever complained. She wanted to stay strong and keep fighting, with the mindset that she will be healthy and happy again at home with her family.

Sandi loved being a grandmother and always loved hearing stories about them. She took full interest in their new hobbies, interests, or things they were learning in school. She never thought twice about spoiling them with toys, or clothing that fit their personality to a tee. 

As for her own hobbies, she loved to craft with just about anything from woodworking, fabric, and yarn. She spent a majority of her time outside in the warmer seasons. She had such a green thumb when it came to gardening. Her yard was such a magical place and a reflection on how she lived her life with such color and life. 

She is survived by her beloved mother Rosana Johnson, husband Gary Elliott, brothers Daryl Johnson, Merle Jr. (Butch) Johnson, sister Cynthia (Cyndi) Bade, son Kyle Elliott, daughter Courtney Kemp, 3 grandchildren, and many aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a Graveside Service Monday, November 11, 2019 @ 2 pm at Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens 4255 E Fairview Ave, Meridian Idaho, 83642
Family has requested that everyone please dress in something Happy & Cheery.

There will be a Celebration Of Life at Bridgepoint Church located at 2350 Broadway, Boise, Idaho 83706
on November 23, 2019 at 2 pm.  If anybody could bring any quilts or anything handmade that they had from Sandra  that would be great.
