But with his noticing Sharon and Leroy dancing up a storm; Gerald cut in to dance with Sharon.  The rest of the school year, if it wasn’t Leroy dancing with Sharon; it was Gerald to dance with Sharon.  It turned out, that Sharon and Gerald were in the Glee Club, singing together.  So, when it came time for the Senior Prom, Gerald timidly asked Sharon: “with his being only a sophomore, if he could take her to the Senior Prom”?  Sharon simply responded with:” as long as one in a party is a Senior, as I make for that; you can take me to the Prom Dance.  Sharon got to go to the Prom with Gerald S Perry! After Sharon and Leroy Graduated in 1965, Gerald continued with his singing, even with garages gigs with friends.  After Gerald S Perry graduated from High School, he wanted to go professional in singing, changing his name to his middle name.  So, Gerald became “Steve Perry” of the Singing group “Journey” After Sharon graduated from High School, she was smitten by her first husband to be, without fulfilling Fred Astaire’s offer.  Sharon was married the first husband Robert Stewart in September 1966, with being in several tours of US Air Force: with in the main 48 States of the USA.  Sharon had four lovely children, Twin Daughters Lynda and Debbie; daughter, Sharon Ranee; and son, Robert (Bob). before her first husband retired from the US Air Force at Mountain Home Idaho AFB in the late 1970’s: residing in Boise, Idaho afterwards.  Sharon achieved jobs with Deseret Industries Thrift Stores, Kmart, well over 26yrs at Wendy’s Old Fashion Hamburgers locations which she loved.
