Shirley Ella Hervey

Shirley Ella Hervey 61, a caring and loving wife, sister, daughter, aunt and the best of friends anyone could ask for passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at home in Boise, ID of natural causes.

Shirley was born November 24th, 1958  to Barbara and Ken Huckstep in Boise, Idaho. She was raised in Boise and spent the majority of her life there as well. She had a deep love for Idaho and all the surrounding areas, especially Sweet, Idaho.

She loved spending time with family as much as she could, whether it was cooking, crafting, shopping camping or traveling she just enjoyed being with friends and family.

Graduated from Borah High School 1977

Married James Hervey for 36 years.

Survived by her husband James Hervey, father Kenneth Huckstep (Sylvia), sister Jeannie Carey (Roger Carey Sr.) many other siblings, nieces, nephew, great nieces and great nephews and her beloved pup Smokey, who absolutely adored her. 

Job’s included many services to the elderly and providing them with the best foods possible and lots of laughter and love. She was loved by absolutely everyone.

She loved to cook and provide for others. If it wasn’t food it was blankets that she made, ornaments for Christmas, hand towels, homemade Piñatas for her nieces and nephews. She just aimed to see smiles on everyone around her and she achieved it every time.

Proceeded in death by her mother, Barbara Huckstep, as well as her brother, Ronnie Huckstep.
