Susan Eilene Hoeft

Susan Eileen “Allinger” Hoeft was born 4/17/1965 in Boise, Idaho to Gerald (Jerry) H. Allinger and Faye Arlene “Keeney” Allinger.  She had three brothers Gordon Wood, Steve Wood, and Gil King and one sister, Eva King. Suzy died 1/5/2022 in Blackfoot Idaho.   

Suzy married her longtime boyfriend Steve Hoeft, June 30th, 1990, “Making It Legal as their announcement said.  Casey Gerald Hoeft was born three years later on 12/31/1993.  Suzy said her greatest accomplishment was her son Casey!!!  What a great gift for New Years!

Suzy went to tech school and graduated with all A’s, getting her Medical Terminology and Coding and Billing Certificate.  She did not pursue this as a career.  Also, years later in 2011, Suzy put herself through CDL School at CWI.  She did fantastic!!!

She got a job with Central Refrigeration, later bought out by Swift.  We had a real hard winter and her trips to SLC were treacherous and she quit driving.  In 2019 she got a job driving for Treasure Valley Coffee and came home every night.  She loved this company and these people.  They loved her.  Suzy took her last trip to Blackfoot and the roads were bad – 7.5 hours which normally took her 3.5. Suzy’s boss said she should get a room; she would be over her driving hours if she drove back.  Well, she was happy to have a great room and watching Western’s.

Suzy went to sleep and peacefully passed away in her sleep.  No pain, No trauma, just peace.

Suzy was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, aunts, and uncles.
