Tribute

Travis Ledington passed away on April 15, 2020 at his home in Phoenix, AZ. He was 35 years old.

Travis was born in Boise, ID on September 20 1984. He moved with his family to Eagle, ID before his first birthday. He so enjoyed the horses and dogs on the acreage provided through this move.

He attended Eagle Elementary, Eagle Middle and High Schools; graduating from Eagle Academy in 2003 with a Presidential Medal for academics. During these years he was active in soccer, baseball, and horse 4-H. He loved to snowboard at Bogus Basin and wrote poetry in his spare time where several of his endeavors were published. He loved the Boise State Broncos and followed them no matter where he lived.

After graduation he worked several local jobs and eventually moved to Seattle with good friends David Hansen and Camas Harris, and was employed as a hotel desk clerk. He eventually moved to Phoenix a few years later where he continued to work in the hotel business in numerous positions. During this time, he met the love of his life, Amber Courter. They had a daughter, Peighton Ledington, on March 16, 2013. She was to become the center of his world. He worked nights during the first five years after Peighton's birth taking care of her during the days. She was the most important part of his life and the sole source of his enjoyment.

Travis is survived by his daughter Peighton Ledington; his mother and father, Jim and Martha Ledington; his sister, Bridget Ledington and her husband, Mark Kirkland; and his grandmother, Anamae Ledington along with his three aunts and uncles and seven cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bud and Alice Hall and his paternal grandfather, Harry Ledington.
