Tribute

Wilda Carole Beckwith, 86, of Boise, died on Monday, November 26, 2018.
Wilda was born to Ed and Hazel Luby in Giltner, Nebraska on June 9, 1932. She was one of thirteen children. After her brothers left home for Idaho, Wilda started helping her dad with the outside chores on the family farm. She took charge of feeding the animals.
Wilda moved to Idaho where she graduated from Boise High and attended BJC. She met and married Bob Beckwith on September 8, 1951. They had two sons, Kevin and Robert. Bob and Wilda never missed a sporting event their boys played in.
Wilda always enjoyed her family. She loved getting together with her parents, siblings and their families. She had numerous nieces and nephews who she loved to visit with. Wilda spent many autumn days’ pheasant hunting with Bob and their boys. They spent years building the family cabin and also working in her yard and flowers. She was an avid BSU Football fan. She was known for her fried chicken dinners; always a family favorite.
After Bob retired, they spent 10 years wintering in Arizona.
Wilda was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Wilda is survived by son Kevin and wife Pam, granddaughter Kristi Fouts and husband Jake, two great granddaughters Hazel and Eva, son Robert and wife Joy, grandson Jordan and granddaughter Stephanie. She will be dearly missed.
A special thank you to Harold, Yvonne, Alex and Roni for opening their home and hearts to Wilda. She felt very lucky to live with your family. Thank you for all the years of excellent care.
Also, a special thanks to St. Lukes Hospice for all their time and care.
A viewing will take place on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10am at Cloverdale Funeral Home with a service to follow.
