So sorry to hear of Uncle Bill's passing. We were so glad to see him at my dad's funeral, Elmer Schweitzer, eight years ago. Thanks J for bringing him. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. What a spectacular example of a great human being, I'm so proud to call him my uncle.

Remember seeing Bill the last time we had a celebration of our retired members at the Red Lion downtowner a number of years back. That 'retiree smile' was intact on that day and our union had a chance to honor such long time members of the Boise letter carriers (65 year member William was) and workers who served their community and fellow carriers well. We are indebted to him and those like him that carried mail and made the postal worker the most trusted employees in the Federal workplace. Thanks for your service to our country and customers of Boise, Idaho.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all! Your husband/dad was a wonderful guy! I can just see him, Shorty, and Daddy (Nels) gathered together with the other Post Office guys having a great gab fest.
