Wilma Edna Brown, age 95, of Meridian left this life January 16, 2022, surrounded by her family. Wilma was born in Wilder, ID., on February 5, 1926 to Nephi and Ellen Newbold. At the young age of sixteen, she married Weldon (Bus) Brown in July 1942. From this union, they had three children; Bernadine (Bernie), Wilene (Kaye), and Howard (Dennis). In their thirty-one years of marriage, they moved around in Texas, Nebraska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and, finally, to Alaska where Weldon passed away in 1973. Wilma returned to Boise to be close to her children and family. Years later, Wilma met and married Marlo Brown of Ft. Collins, CO., in 1985. They moved to Colorado for several years and then returned to Weiser, ID to raise horses. They resided there until Marlo passed away in October of 2002. Wilma, again, moved to Boise to be close to her grandkids and family. Wilma enjoyed flowers, word searches, reading, embroidering, crocheting and camping.
Wilma is survived by her children; Bernadine (Bernie) Lyman- Susanville, CA. Wilene (Kaye) Swogger- Meridian, ID., and Howard (Dennis) Brown with wife Sonja V. Brown- Boise, ID., 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and her two husbands. She will be missed by all.
