Kathleen Christine Lemmon (Hulsey)
December 28, 1952 – May 22, 2020

Kathleen Christine Lemmon was born on December 28, 1952 to Elijah and Lillian Hulsey in Fairfield, California.
Kathy spent the first part of her childhood in Porterville, California with her six siblings. The family then moved to Sonoma California, where she lived till she became a young mother at the age of 18, to her daughter Amae. While visiting her sister in Hawaii she met her soon to be husband, Ron. Ron was the love of her life. Within a couple months they had moved to Boise, Idaho and were married on November 28, 1972. In 1974, Kathy gave birth to her son, Tanner.
She spent the next few years taking care of her new family and working several different jobs, as long as it would fit with her taking care of her young children. She eventually attained her career job, working for Albertson’s, in the corporate offices. Kathy eventually worked her way up to a position where she would travel around the country helping Albertson’s open new stores. Kathy took great pride in her work, and her level of achievement.
In the early 1990’s, Kathy and Ron moved to McCall, Idaho. They built their dream home, and lived a wonderful life in McCall for over 20 years. In 2015, they moved to Bend, Oregon, to be near their grandchildren. After Ron passed in 2016, Kathy moved back to Boise, Idaho. She bought a home in Boise and her daughter Amae lived with her for her last few years.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, and two older brothers, Roger and Billy, and is survived by her daughter Amae, son Tanner, two grandchildren, Ava and Baird, brother Bob, and sisters Shirley, Virginia and Delores.
Kathy enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, maintaining a well-kept home, gardening, and taking care of her grand puppies, Amae’s dogs, RileyRoo and Nanuq. They were her rays of sunshine.
Kathy was greatly loved by everyone; she will be deeply missed.

We believe that dad is showing mom her new house that he built for her in their time apart.
And mom is already planning all of the changes........

There will not be a memorial service, but hopefully we will have a celebration of life, in the coming future.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Idaho Humane Society.
