Frank and I started working at the International School of Brussels in the Middle School around the same time. He was an excellent teacher and coach, a dear friend with a wonderful sense of humor. Our joint performance of "The Blues Brothers" at the annual Talent Show as well as the trip to Greece and the many field trips to France will always have a special place in my heart. Frank was kind hearted, genuine, full of life and energy, always fun to be around.

I am saddened by the news of Coach Morandi's passing. Perhaps the most influential teacher during my middle school and high school years, he was my basketball coach for 2 years during my stay at ISB. He was tough on me, both on and off the court. Education came first with Coach, and he made sure my grades were in order, as I prioritized basketball over my grades sometimes. He believed in me when I didn't necessarily believe in myself.

Coach Morandi was such a great influence on my life. I was on his ISB basketball team for four years, culminating in a European Championship in 1995.
