I am so sorry to hear this and I hope that the family is still viewing this page periodically. I only learned of this today (12/4/17). I worked with Frank 1986-1988 and counted him to be both a friend and an outstanding colleague.

Dear Morandi Family-
So truly sorry for your loss. Franco was nothing less than amazing. A brilliant student and a superior athlete. A three-sport athlete - you don't hear of them these days, and he EXCELLED at all three sports!! I have lived my whole adult life in Pittsburgh where Franco Harris is still a hero, but Franco Morandi will live forever on as a true hometown hero of Hoosick Falls. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
God Bless,
Donna

I remember meeting Frank for the first time freshman year at Williams. I loved connecting with a peer from Hoosick Falls, so near where my mother and father grew up and where I spent many summers as a kid. Frank was always at the center of the action, fun-loving, positive, joyful, and competitive in the most positive ways. I treasured his friendship. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss.

I offer you my thoughts, prayers and well-wishes during this dark time in your life. As a classmate, I remember him fondly as and excellent football, basketball and baseball player coupled with extreme smarts. I seem to remember his face getting red sometimes while trying to prove his point :) .... I have memories vising him in FL when we both lived there. Our most sincere condolences to Frank's family on this untimely loss. You have lost a father, son, husband. Those of us - all over the world - who had the pleasure of working with him or being coached or taught by him, have lost a friend. We wish him a blessed journey to his final rest and hope that his courage and his example will give you strength.

My sincerest condolences to all of the Morandis on the loss of this great man. I always looked up to Frank as a role model, both in sports and in life. I remember watching him excel in football and basketball in high school, and learned much from him when he coached me in basketball on my Youth Center team. He will be truly missed.

Dear family of Frank,
I babysat he and his siblings just about every day for 3-4 years in my high school days. I will always remember Frank always trying to be the man in the family! He was so very intelligent and athletic! What a great combination! I will always remember he and his family and recall some great stories of his antics! How he emulated Franco Harris and the Christmas he got everything Steelers! Rest In Peace Frank🙏🏻

We have many fond memories of our time spent with Frank, Kersten and Caelan at AIS, as well as connecting in the years that followed. We are so saddened by his loss. Frank and I started working at the International School of Brussels in the Middle School around the same time. He was an excellent teacher and coach, a dear friend with a wonderful sense of humor. Our joint performance of "The Blues Brothers" at the annual Talent Show as well as the trip to Greece and the many field trips to France will always have a special place in my heart. Frank was kind hearted, genuine, full of life and energy, always fun to be around.
I am saddened by his passing and send my condolences to the family. May the memories of all the lives Frank has touched in such a profound way be a comforting thought in these difficult days.
Rest in peace, dear Frank.

I am saddened by the news of Coach Morandi's passing. Perhaps the most influential teacher during my middle school and high school years, he was my basketball coach for 2 years during my stay at ISB. He was tough on me, both on and off the court. Education came first with Coach, and he made sure my grades were in order, as I prioritized basketball over my grades sometimes. He believed in me when I didn't necessarily believe in myself.
I grieve for your loss, and I often think of him. Condolences to the Morandi family.

I worked with Frank at the International School of Brussels and remember that he was always enthusiastic about his sports and supportive of his students. We had some great times on weekends enjoying all that Brussels had to offer. When we parted, we always said that it would be great to work together again at the International School of Aruba! I haven't been in contact with Frank for many years but will miss his friendly smile and love of life. Please accept my deepest condolences.

I offer my heartfelt condolences to the Morandi family and friends of Frank. When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief. Our loving heavenly Father gives us hope at Revelations 21: 4 says: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. May these promises from Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18) bring you comfort. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 11:23-25)

Coach Morandi was such a great influence on my life. I was on his ISB basketball team for four years, culminating in a European Championship in 1995. Frank expected the best of us and was a very demanding Coach. Looking back, being older now, he saw greatness in all of us and he extracted that from us. Naturally we all lose touch as we age and I was stunned to hear of Coach Morandi's struggles. I am saddened to hear of his loss. I send my deepest sympathies to his family during this difficult time. Frank is in my thoughts often.

Just the joy and happiness of being with the Lord for eternity. Thanks be to God for the goodness of his life. May your deep faith in the resurrection be your strength in this time of grief and loss. Cherish the memories and pray your goodbyes. Be assured of my prayers for the repose of his soul. Sorry I can't be with you for the wake or funeral service.
