Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away on Monday, April 8, 2014.
Sharon was born on June 13, 1938 in Worland, Wyoming to William (Bill) and Love Crowder.
She graduated from Thermopolis High School in Thermopolis, Wyoming in 1956.
She married Jerome (Jerry) Lang on March 14, 1959 in Casper, Wyoming. During their 55 years of marriage, Sharon and Jerry made several moves with their daughter, Kim and son, Kelly, with stops in Boise, Idaho; Murray, Utah; Clayton, California; Issaquah, Washington and then back to Boise for retirement in 1983.
Throughout the many moves Sharon was active in Newcomers Clubs, holding the position of Secretary in 1975 and President in 1976 for the Salt Lake Chapter; she taught basic banking to grade schools, participated in small theatre groups and Bridge Clubs (Sharon played a mean game of Bridge!)
Sharon is survived by her loving and faithful husband, Jerry Lang, daughter Kim (Dennis Crouse), grandsons Craig (Allison) and Kelly Crouse; son, Kelly Lang (Julie), granddaughters, Kelsie and Anna Lang. Brothers, Stan Crowder and Bob Crowder.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Diabetes Association or your local SPCA.
