She was born April 19, 1922 in Gooding, Idaho to Troy Preston and Elsie Octavia Cox. She grew up in Gooding, Idaho and graduated from Gooding High School in 1940. Iva Adkins (83) crossed beyond the veil of this existence to be with her mother and other loved ones on April 20, 2024 in Kuna, Idaho.  She was the loving mother of three surviving daughters Jean (Tom) of Manhattan, Kansas,  Juli (Tyson) of Meridian, and Laura (Chad) of Kuna; 5 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 5 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed.  Thank you to all who served and worked with her throughout her...
